New Statute Training

Robert J. Hopp and Jack Arrowsmith, Douglas County Public Trustee, have joined to promote and host a series of public training seminars focused on the new foreclosure laws affecting Colorado.  As a result of House Bill 1387 and Senate Bill 71 being signed into law at the conclusion of the 2006 legislative session Mr. Hopp and Mr. Arrowsmith designed a three part program to assist in the education of public and private sectors surrounding this landmark legislation.  The sessions will be hosted in Douglas County and focus on implementation and practical aspects of these new laws and how they will affect the participants in the foreclosure and default industry.  The sessions begin in August and run through December of 2006.  Mr. Hopp is also conducting industry training for lenders and servicers across the country to help them prepare for the significant changes in the law and the challenges they will face operating under two statutory schemes.
