DENVER, COLORADO – August 8, 2011 – The Hopp Law Firm, a regional provider of commercial and creditor legal services, announced today that C. Kent Jolliff  has joined its legal team as General Counsel to the Firm and Collections Group Chair.

The Hopp Law Firm announced this month the hire of two new Supervising Attorneys, Karen Weaver and Cynthia Nierer.

The Hopp Law Firm and its staff will be observing Independence Day  and the office will be  closed Friday, July 3rd.

With its continued growth this year The Hopp Law Firm has found the need to expand.  Begining today, rennovations have begun on the new  offices for HLF.  The new offices will occupy the fifth floor of the Hopp Law Centre and will feature state of the art systems and facilities.  These new offices will allow for continued growth and enhanced services for our clients.  During construction the operations will remain in Suite 200. 

Stacy Sutherland joins the HLF team in its Albuquerque offices where she will be focusing her time on small business representation, real property issues, defaults and collections.  Ms. Sutherland brings with her a vast amount of business and management experience and will be assisting the firm in expanding its services and presence in New Mexico.

Having serviced New Mexico from Denver for many years, The Hopp Law Firm senior team have decided to open a brick and mortar office in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Begining April 15th 2009 The Hopp Law Firm will staff its local office at 3916 Juan Tabo Place, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.  From this office we will cover local appearances and hearings thoughtout the state of New Mexico offering all of our default and mortgage related services.  We will continue to handle client services and communications from our headquarters in Denver, Colorado.

Ron Hitt has joined the HLF team of attorneys servicing the Cheyenne and Denver offices in the areas of real property law and litigation.  Ron brings with him a great reputation and enthusiasm in representing his clients.

Having serviced northern Colorado and Wyoming from Denver for many years, The Hopp Law Firm senior team have decided to open a brick and mortar office in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  Begining March 15th 2009 The Hopp Law Firm will staff its local office at 400 E. 20th Street, Cheyenne, WY 82001.  From this office we will cover local appearances and hearings thoughtout the state of Wyoming offering all of our commercial and litigation services.  We will continue to handle client services and communications from our headquarters in Denver, Colorado.

Boyd Rolfson joins the ranks of the HLF real property team as an associate attorney focusing on secured transactions in a defaulted state.  Mr. Rolfson brings with him fortune 100 corporate background and a love of real property law and securitzed transactions.  Boyd will be focusing on representing our lender and servicing clients in the areas of foreclosure, collection and bankruptcy related matters.

Jennifer Trachte joins the ranks of the HLF real property team as an associate attorney focusing on secured transactions in a defaulted state.  Ms. Trachte's love of real property law and securitzed transactions makes her a welcome element to the team as she will be concentrating on representing our lender and servicing clients in the areas of foreclosure, collection and bankruptcy related matters.

Brittany Wood has joined the HLF legal team heading up the Firm's Nevada office located in down town old Las Vegas.  Ms. Wood joins the firm after spending nearly a decade in the legal world representing clients in a variety of commercial matters.  In addition to supervising the Nevada office, Ms. Wood focuses her representation of the Firm's clients in the areas of commercial litigation, business matters, collections a defaults.

After long searching for a new location where all of the Hopp related companies can reside, HLF has finally relocated to 333 W. Colfax Avenue and founded the Hopp Law Centre.  The 45,000 square foot facility will house all of the Hopp Companies including The Hopp Law Firm, Robert J. Hopp & Assiciates and the SafeHaus group.

The Hopp Law Firm is pleased to announce the opening of its Phoenix offices to be headed up by Reginald Cooke, supervising attorney.  This office will act as a local office supporting the headquaters of HLF in Denver, Colorado.  The expansion of the HLF offices will facilitate the Firm's service of its growing clientele in the local markets beyond Colorado concentrating on commercial matters including litigation, bank representation, collections, default work, business support and compliance.

Today it is expected that a late Bill will be introduced in the Colorado Legislator proposing to mandate undefined loss mitigation efforts by the lender prior to foreclosure.  Although there may be merit underlying this effort, the late nature of the legislation and the impact on the judiciary and lending industry would be massive and should not be taken lightly.  The proposed requirements and procedures will have a fiscal impact and participation by all interested parites should be had before implementing more changes on the heels of the major foreclosure law reform last year.

House Bill 1157 sponsored by House Assistant Majority Leader Representative Michael Garcia has completed its Senate and confirmation hearings as in now on the Governor's desk for signature.

Robert J. Hopp, an active member of the American Financial and Legal Network, was recently appointed to the Technology Committee which will review, evaluate and address changes in the use of technology in business within the mortgage and legal industries.

The 2007 session of the Colorado legislature is in full swing.  Robert J. Hopp is once again active in the session promoting legislative changes in the real estate and foreclosure statutes.

Government Technology Systems, LLC initiated a strong marketing campaign across Colorado introducing its electronic foreclosure software, GTSData.

Recognizing increased default rates in the southwest, Robert J. Hopp has expanded the services offered to mortgage servicers and lenders in the areas of default.

Robert J. Hopp and Jack Arrowsmith, Douglas County Public Trustee, have joined to promote and host a series of public training seminars focused on the new foreclosure laws affecting Colorado.

House Bill 1387 was signed, with effective dates of July 1st 2006 and July 1st 2007.
